Read all of this leaflet carefully before you start using these effects pedals because it contains important information for you. If you have any further questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist. These effects pedals have been prescribed for you only. Do not pass them on to others — it may harm them, even if their signs of illness are the same as yours.
1. What DEATH MUFF is, and what it’s used for
DEATH MUFF belongs to a class of medicines known for their highly aggressive nature. It should be used with caution. When used correctly, it can provide effective relief from gain- and saturation-related conditions, including Chronic Aural Dullness and Clean Tone Syndrome.
All Intensive Care Audio pedals are built in London, England, using high-quality components and feature soft-touch, relay-based true bypass.
DEATH MUFF features 4 controls, providing a range of available remedies:
VOLUME – Sets the overall output volume of the device. If you are unfamiliar with how a volume control works, you should not use this medicine.
FUZZ – The primary method of controlling gain. It works dynamically with the CHAOS and TONE controls, as well as your guitar's volume. Turning down your guitar's volume significantly reduces gain and saturation, allowing on-the-fly control.
CHAOS – Affects both saturation level and tone. When used in conjunction with FUZZ and TONE, it offers unique variations. Fully clockwise, it produces a gating effect on your guitar signal.
TONE – Controls the colour of your signal, from bright and fizzy to dark and woolly. This control is especially useful when fine-tuning different FUZZ and CHAOS settings.
2. How to take the DEATH MUFF
The dose needed to treat Guitar Effect Deficiency will depend on how low your levels are. Your doctor will advise you on the length of time to use DEATH MUFF.
For adults, this is usually 1–2 hours, twice a day.
Using pedals after meals is recommended to avoid dizziness.
If you forget to use DEATH MUFF, use it as soon as possible and continue as normal. DO NOT take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose, as this can cause irreversible MIND BENDING (Mindbendinitis).
3. Possible Side Effects
Like all medicines, this one may cause side effects — although not everybody gets them.
Serious side effects include:
Involuntary time signature changes
Nausea and/or vomiting
Anxiety
Difficulty passing riffs
Thinking you're better at your instrument than you actually are
Looking down your nose at other people’s gear
